From Our Recent Graduates...

"The training I got from UPMC Hamot School of Anesthesia was exceptional. I was selected to lead a committee here called Intra-op Anesthesia Emergency Crisis. The head of the Anesthesia Department called me in the office and said it’s hard to believe I’m a new grad."

"As a 2019 graduate of Hamot School of Anesthesia, I truthfully have nothing but great things to say about this CRNA program. The classes are very structured, the professors are all practicing anesthesiologists or CRNAs, knowledgeable in the subject content areas and excellent anesthesia providers. Clinically, this program is one of the few hospital owned programs, meaning the anesthesia students do not compete for cases with residents or other students!

At the end of the program I had over 1,000 cases and 2,000+ hours spent in the operating room.

I can genuinely say that Hamot School of Anesthesia prepared me not only to pass the anesthesia board exam but made a smooth transition into my first job, especially knowing that I have the skills and knowledge to practice as a safe and competent CRNA."
